The worst spokesperson possible


Yahoo! needed to communicate to media planners the new Yahoo! Music: an online platform to listen to music in high definition streaming. We have to show the new possibilities that offer as media for campaign planning catching their attention.
We decided to make a campaign taking as spokesperson Leonardo Dantés, a Spanish TV freak. He just visits the Media Planing offices to show what is NOT Yahoo! Music dedicating a song to every agency. Then, we gave them a packaging with promotional headphones and a leaflet with the headline “The song you just heard is the only one you won’t find in Yahoo! Music”. Furthermore, we designed the microsite www.todomenosdantes.com to collect media-planners’ data. The action had a good reception. We have a 90% of target data on the website. The planning in Yahoo! Music increased in 200%.
